Anniversary weekend.

be
Jeff Grubic, AKA Mr. Tidypaws, emerges from the
stage shadows and swings into big sax and keyboard sweeps that lend
powerful grace to any band. Veteran of Hipster Daddy-O and The Hand
Grenades as well as a raft of other Bay Area/Tucson bands and experiments,
Tidypaws is most frequently featured with La
Cerca these days. His ongoing Ad Nauseam project -- inspired
by avant-garde composers -- always delivers a heady mix of established
musical innovators producing strata of parts that careen and interlock.
He's got a certain "when men were men" style -- he well
knows who he is yet never swaggers; he's got natural style that
puts posers to shame. Oh yeah, he's a barbeque expert too. How eligible
can a guy get?
