Alex across the bar at Vaudeville, Tucson, Fall 2002.

Alex is one of those rare people you're always glad to see. He owns a gravity that anchors the room whenever he is working. Veterans of the downtown scene know Alex well from his days at Congress, and followed him to Vaudeville when it opened in 2000. We're all happier when he's around. “I'm easy-going," he says during a break. "I love hearing different music and meeting people. I try to take in as much as I can.”
